CARE INSTRUCTIONS

For Leather Products:

  • Leather is a natural material, which evolves over time. A leather patina is a sign of genuine, high-quality leather. It absorbs the traces of life around it - the natural body oils that your body produces, water, moisture, conditioner, dirt, dust, sunlight, heat - the leather absorbs it all. Over time, it develops a sheen in some places - while some spots may see a relative darkening.

  • The more you handle your leather product around, and the way you handle it, also affects the nature and degree of patina that develops. If you use the product naturally - in a usual way with the usual standard of leather care, a patina is likely to come up gradually. 

  • If you want to maintain your leather bracelet, you can use dry and soft cloth for cleaning after use.

  • Keep it in a cool, dry place when not in use. Use our packaging to keep your jewellery bright, shiny, and tarnish-free longer!

  • Avoid in contact with water. If you accidentally put it in your laundry and the bracelet becomes fully wet, do take note that the leather will shrink a little. It is best to air-dry it overnight before putting it back inside the packaging.

  • Due to hygienic reasons, leather bracelets should also be removed before playing sports of any kind. Please remove jewellery before washing hands, bathing, swimming or applying body care products such as perfume or soap to prevent stains and discolouration.

For Wooden Products:

  • Avoid in contact with water.

  • Wood is a natural material and a natural humidity is ideal for its preservation.

  • Please remove jewellery before bathing, swimming to prevent stains and discolouration.

BACKORDER POLICY

  • When you place an item on backorder with us, we will ship it to you as soon as the material arrives. In the event of a product being placed on backorder, while you have other available items on that order, we will ship all in-stock, available items immediately. Your backordered item(s) will be sent to you, as soon as the product is ready.

  • Arrival dates for different items will differ and are usually stated under the individual items. The dates of arrival stated are based on estimation. The exact dates of arrival will be made known to the customers once they are confirmed.

  • For delayed Backorders, strictly no cancellation of order will be allowed. An email will be send to notify you on the latest status updates.

  • Slight colour discrepancy for the Backorder items and In Stock items may be present due to difference batches of leather purchased and will not be considered as a defect.

CUSTOMISATION BOOTH POLICY

  • Customisation is strictly available during our pop-up booths. Once design is finalised, payment must be done before-hand and collection will be the next working day.

  • Price range varies depending on the semi-precious stones that you will be choosing and the style of your leather - be it in single wrap or a double wrap.

  • There will be no discount given for any customised products. It is our time, effort and production that you're dealing with, so please, do not haggle for discounts.

  • We will try our best to cater with your needs - we will help you throughout the design process on creating a beautiful yet meaningful design, close to your heart.

REPLACEMENT POLICY

Latch products are handmade from scratch and are custom-made from every buyer's request. Unfortunately, we do not allow returns of items. However, an item can be replaced for the exact same type item at once. We provide an exchange for regular priced item(s) within 10 days of the dispatched date for Singapore Orders (including self-collection orders), within 20 days for international orders. For customised product(s) within 48 hours upon collection. This will be based on the following circumstances:

  • Incorrect bracelet size ordered

  • Poor bracelet quality

Items must be returned in their original condition (unworn, unscented, unwashed, unaltered). Bracelets should be returned with the original packaging, free of damage.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • By ordering any of our products, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions.

  • By placing an order at Latch Handmade, you warrant that you are at least 18 years old or have parents' permission to buy from us.

  • The price applicable is that set at the date on which you place your order. Price may change depending on every batch of materials 

  • Shipping costs and payment fees are recognised before confirming the purchase.

  • Please note that local charges may occur.

  • Latch Handmade reserves the right to amend any information without prior notice.

  • We are not responsible for undelivered packages due to address incorrectly entered by customer. We are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

  • Shipping Policy: Please allow between 2-3 business days for your order to be processed and shipped out.

  • Please check with your local post office or the customs office for any import duties, local taxes, and handling charges that may be applied to your purchase.

  • Once shipped most items are received from the time frames listed above. However, please understand that LATCH Handmade cannot control the postal services and/or Customs. Post delays or your package may be stopped at Customs and it is beyond of our control.

  • We do not allow any reselling of LATCH Handmade products. Permission has to be granted before any reselling can take place. Contents may be used without prior permission ONLY for personal & non-commercial purposes.

International Shipping:

  • Once shipped most items are received from the time frames listed above. However, please understand that LATCH Handmade can not control the postal services and/or Customs. Post delays or your package may be stopped at Customs and it is beyond of our control.

  • Please note that local charges (sales tax, customs duty) may occur, depending on your region and local customs duties. These charges are at the customers own expense. We do not charge sales tax on orders that are shipped outside Singapore. Due to this, customs chargers or local taxes may apply in your chosen country. For further information, please contact your local customs office or authorities in your country.
